Food Safety QuickTrain is an internet-based course in food safety for food handlers. It is intended for food handlers, servers and other food industry personnel. On successful completion, students will have an understanding of basic food safety principles and how to protect themselves and others from foodborne illness.
Food Safety QuickTrain can be completed online from anywhere in the world equipped with a windows-based computer, high-speed internet connection (ADSL or cable modem) and the Internet Explorer web browser.
Students progress at their own pace through eight easy-to-use interactive modules. Average time to complete is about 5 hours and is roughly equivalent to a one-day classroom training course. Each module contains text, graphics, audio and self-test features. There are significant cost advantages for employers and for persons wishing to obtain pre-employment food safety training. |

Food Safety QuickTrain's eight interactive modules teach core food safety topics. A 50 question final quiz is automatically scored and the results stored in a database for your review. Employees progress at their own pace through a simple-to-use graphical interface and can exit and resume the program later.
This course has been approved by the B.C. Ministry of Health for equivalentcy to the one day 'FoodSafe' Level one classroom training program. Service will commence in April 2008. Please call 1-800-893-9333 Pacific for more information. |
